    Here is a question I’ve had as a single person: If there is no way to know who the elect are, how do we choose a marriage partner? Someone may appear reprobate now, but be regenerated in the future.

      Hi Teresa:

      Thank you for your question and visiting the site.

      First, I think the Bible is pretty plain that Christians should only marry Christians.
      I have a background in counseling and many problems can be caused by a believer marrying a non-believer. For example, there is no shared foundation upon which to base their marriage.

      So to answer your question, if the person is not a Christian (regardless of whether you approach it from a Reformed or Arminian viewpoint) you should not be unequally yoked.
