- LAST SURVIVING SIGNER OF THE DECLARATION OF INDEPENDENCE: Charles Carroll was the last of the 59 men who signed the Declaration of Independence to die. He passed away in 1832 at the age of 95
- LAST BACH: The last descendant of the prolific musical Bach family died on Christmas Day, 1845.
- LAST BEATLES CONCERT: The Beatles last concert was at Candlestick Park, San Francisco, on August 29, 1966. The last song they played was “Long Tall Sally.”
- LAST MAN ON THE MOON: US Astronaut Eugene Cernan is the last person to set foot on the moon – December 1972.
