Foundation Scripture:
“But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.” – Hebrews 5:14
The Word of God is the only answer to a desperate situation. Remove all distractions – and sell out completely to the Word, and be in living contact with God, day and night.
Do not let other interests or activities take over your time with the Word and fellowship with God. Don’t be lazy about the things of God. Determine in your heart to change things.
Your body can be trained to follow God. (Heb. 5:14)
Become Addicted To Jesus
Addicted – “to devote, to deliver over, to apply habitually.” Habitually apply yourself to making contact with God daily through prayer and the Word, and it will become a way of life with you.
“For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him. . .” – 2 Chron. 16:9
Perfect – translated means, “faithful, loyal, dedicated and devoted.”
God will pass over a million people to find one who is loyal to Him. God wants to move in our behalf. He wants to meet our every need, and work miracles for us.
“ If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?” – Luke 11:13
We are God’s children. He has us in His heart. He cares about us. But we must let God be God in our lives. We cannot put other things before Him. Our hearts have to be wholly turned toward Him.
Your Desire Follows Your Attention
If you will turn your attention toward God, your heart will follow.
Wade further out into the realm of the spirit, until it’s so deep, you can’t possibly touch the bottom. Your flesh will try to hold you back. it’s only by renewing our minds that we can move into the realm of the spirit.
Give just 1-2 hours to God out of every 24, and your life will be changed and empowered, all would be will, and we would be a mightly force for God!
