Arminian Theology – Total Depravity

The majority of conservative Arminians believe that mankind is totally depraved.  There are some differences in how the idea of total depravity impacts Calvinism and Arminian theology.

Total Depravity

Genesis 6:5:

ESV Genesis 6:5 The LORD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intention of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.

John 7:17

Genesis 9:6
